Level 1: Therapy Massage for Health (Wat Po Style – southern technique)

Prerequisite: none

• This course covers the 5 positions of the internationally recognized traditional Thai Massage Wat Po style (Lying on the back, side, stomach–prone -, back and sitting position).

• Teaches a 2-hour massage of deep acupressure along the energy lines and the proper use of body weight using thumbs, palms, elbows, knees and feet.

• Upon completion, students will be able to perform an effective Southern style of 2 hours of traditional deep acupressure for therapy Thai massage for health.

Costs € 550,- 

(incl: didactic materials, unlimited tuition, certification)

ITM Thai Hand Berlin diploma/certification after successful completion of the practical exam.

You can follow this course as many times as you like without extra costs (not separate lessons but the whole course and only when reserved in advance because limited places are available), and take the exam when you are ready.

Certificates for students

Upon successful completion of the courses, students receive certificates for their courses. This course is not a substitute for the course General Thai Massage Course given at Wat Po School, Salaya in Thailand. ITM Thai Hand Berlin recommends students who like to get internationally certified from Wat Po go to Chetawan Health School in Salaya, Thailand and pay the full amount there.
